Mark Shainblum and Gabriel Morrissette have worked together for over fifteen years. Their first major collaboration was on the critically acclaimed comic book series Northguard, which later spawned a Canadian postage stamp.

Gabriel Morrissette – Artist
Gabriel is a Montreal illustrator, animator and comic artist. Currently working for Cactus Animation, Gabriel co-created Northguard, Fleur-de-Lys and Angloman with Mark Shainblum, with whom he has collaborated for over fifteen years. Gabriel has worked for several comic book publishers, including DC Comics and Marvel Comics, and has illustrated such characters as Spider-Man 2099, Doc Savage, Ragman and Checkmate.

Mark Shainblum – Writer
Mark is a Montreal freelance writer and editor, and co-creator of the Angloman comic strip. A former literary columnist for Hour and a former small-press publisher, Mark has written in genres ranging from comic book superheroes to poetry to literary criticism. In the 1980's Mark served as editor and publisher of Matrix Graphics, an independent publisher of comic books. He also recently co-edited a collection of Canadian science fiction entitled Arrowdreams: An Anthology of Alternate Canadas.
